NMX
Construction was registered in 2008. Operations
started in 2009 with a small project awarded by
Phamodzi Mine in Orkney, reclining and re-vamping as
a sub constructor.

In 2011
we were rewarded a sub-contract for construction of
20 low cost houses in Taung Village were 10 local
people benefited.

In
2012 we were awarded a project for 45 low cost
houses by Metroprojects and this project employed 20
men and 5 women.

In 2013
we had an opportunity to be part of the construction
of the biggest mall in the North West, Matlosana
Mall under the main contractors Murray & Roberts. We
were one of the 50 local contractors who
participated in the construction. This project
created jobs by employing approximately 125 local
people, 30 young individuals, 35 ladies and 45 men.

In 2013
we renovated change houses in Shaft #7 of China
African Precious Metal Mine Orkney, creating
employment for 20 male individuals.

In 2013
NMX Construction was awarded a R23 million project
to construct low cost housing in Khunotswana. We
subcontracted a woman owned company and employed
approximately 40 women, 30 men and 30 young
individuals during this project. We also supplied
them with relevant certificates of competence for
construction of low cost housing. The company also
bought a new wheelchair for a disabled woman from
the community. We also rennovated a vandalised
community hall. The project was successfully
completed in time. This achievement led to NMX
receiving 2nd run up Best Women Contractor in the
North West Project.

In 2015
we trained 5 young individuals as plumbers and they
received certificates from the NHBRC.
